PROPHETIC IMAGES THAT GIVE YOU
ENCOURAGEMENT, COMFORT, STRENGTH, AND FAITH IN GOD
"ARROWS"
Published April 5, 2014
This morning I saw the arrows Elisha gave to Joash, the King of Israel. Be diligent in your prayers, battles are being won, God is giving you victories before you engage in battles. Don't quit striking the enemy, God promises you the victory if you don't grow weary in the fight.
2 Kings 13:18-19
Then he said, “Take the arrows,” and he took them. And he said to the king of Israel, “Strike the ground,” and he struck it three times and stopped. So the man of God was angry with him and said, “You should have struck five or six times, then you would have struck Aram until you would have destroyed it. But now you shall strike Aram only three times.”
"THE HARVEST"
Published April 4, 2014
Reaping is on it's way, so don't throw away your dreams. God is faithful to His Words concerning you. You have sown costly seeds of faithfulness in many different ways, Believe, your harvest is on it way.
Psalms 126:5-6
Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting.
He who goes to and fro weeping, carrying his bag of seed,
Shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.
"LIVING WATER"
Published April 3, 2014
God's answer to the world's needs is to send water.
Isaiah 41:17-18 says, “The afflicted and needy are seeking water, but there is none, And their tongue is parched with thirst; I, the Lord, will answer them Myself, As the God of Israel I will not forsake them. “I will open rivers on the bare heights and springs in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water and the dry land fountains of water.
God sent His love gift to us.
John 4:10
Jesus said this to the Samaritan woman “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”
John 7:38
Jesus said to the multitude," He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water. "
"DEEP"
Published April 2, 2014
The Word deep comes to mind this day. One of the definitions for deep is: a vast or immeasurable extent. The scripture that comes to mind this day, says it best from the Amplified Bible.
Ephesians 3:16-21
"May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality]. May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted DEEP in love and founded securely on love, That you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God’s devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and DEPTH [of it]; [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]! Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams] —
To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it)."
"BE STRONG"
Published April 1, 2014
As I was praying this morning a scripture came to mind about Abraham in Romans 4:20-21.
"Yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform."
Abraham grew strong in faith because he chose to believe the promises of God over the Impossibilities of his circumstances, and over the deadness of his and Sarah's old bodies. He believed God was faithful to do what He said He would do. Because he believed God's Words to him, he grew strong to receive the promises of God. He became the Father of many nations, the Father of those who believe God!
"THE ROOSTER"
Published March 31, 2014
A Rooster is known for awakening us with it's early morning Cock-a-doodle-doos. This morning I kept hearing a song about the Bride of Christ asking The Lord to awakening love in her life. Song of Songs 8:4 says, “I want you to swear, O daughters of Jerusalem, Do not arouse or awaken my love until she pleases.”
God wants to awaken Passion for Him, in us, if we will ask Him. Passionate Love for Him! His love, will cause us to be an over-comer in every area of our lives. Galatians 5:6 says,"Faith works through Love."
Let's ask God to quicken a greater overcoming love for Him in our lives.
"THE LITTLE BLUE TRAIN"
Published March 30, 2014
I saw a blue train engine this morning while I was praying. Then a well known kid's story came to mind about a little train engine who believed he could pull a heavy stranded train over a difficult country side and up a steep mountain. Other trains much bigger and more qualified than him refused to pull the stranded train because the load was so great, but the little blue train believed he could, "I think I can, I think I can.", he said over and over.
Today remember, Philippians 4:13, "You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you." And Mark 11:24, "All things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you." You can do it, through our Amazing God!
