"SEATED WITH HIM"
Published June 6, 2014
If you ever get to visit My Mom and Dad, you will notice in their front room, they have two very comfortable chairs. They are often SEATED together in that place talking, resting, planning, watching their shows, and just enjoying being together.
Jesus has SEATED us with Him!
The Bible tells us of how God loved us when we were dead in our sins and that He made us alive together with Christ. Ephesians 2:6, exultantly declares, that He "raised us up with Him, and SEATED us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus." We are SEATED in Christ Jesus! It's a place of Power and great authority and dominion far above all our enemies.
While I was praying for you today, I saw a very comfortable arm chair. I felt like God was showing me He wanted us to be people that are comfortable in our position of being SEATED in Christ. In that place, we are at rest, fellowshipping with our Jesus, hearing His heart, and planning. He desires that we take the authority that is ours in being SEATED in Christ. We now look at the difficulties that we are walking through with eyes of victory, knowing that we are SEATED with Christ. And that place, lifts us above all our circumstances, giving us a place of power and victory over our enemies.
This day, let us get comfortable where we are SEATED! We are In Christ Jesus, a place of authority, power, far above our enemies and we are Loved!!!
SCRIPTURES:
Ephesians 1:20-23 says,
"Which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all."
Ephesians 6:12
"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
"COME IN"
Published on June 5, 2014
Have you ever been afraid to go to a place because you didn't know what to expect or if you would be accepted? For many years, our family traveled and ministered at different churches and we hardly ever knew ahead of time what awaited us. Often we would be anxious before we would arrive at a church. There were so many fears that would present itself before us. Are we dressed right? Who are we staying with? Are they nice people, will they like us and our children? Would the church be open to the ministry or would their hearts be closed to us? I remember one time when my husband almost cancelled a meeting all because he was afraid we wouldn't be accepted, when in fact many people would be greatly ministered too and doors would open for us.
This morning while I was praying for you, I heard a song in my spirit, called,
"Come Closer My Child." Here are some of the words to the song:
"Come closer, my child, Come closer,
You want to, but your afraid,
My Son has made the way open,
By the blood that He has shed..."
There's nothing more to fear, By faith you can draw near,
The veil been is torn in two,
There's nothing more that you can do,
So with boldness enter in,
Knowing who you are in Him,
For Christ has done it all"
Hebrews 4:16 invites us to, "Come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."
And also Hebrews 10:19 declares, "Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence (boldness) to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus."
This day, God doesn't wants us to be afraid that He will accept us, but He tells us to Come Boldly before Him. The way is now Open, not because of our works, but because Jesus' blood has Opened the Way for us. You can now Come with confidence to Him, Heaven is Opened!
SCRIPTURE:
Ephesians 2:13
"But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ."
"PARCHED GROUND"
Published June 4, 2014
Have you ever been in a season where everything around you looked dry and parched and there seems to be no life, no fruitfulness, only rough, thirsty ground?
David was in a time like that in Psalms 63:1. He had fled into the wilderness from his son, Absalom, who was seeking to kill him to take over the kingdom. During this time David lifted his heart to God in a song, "O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, In a dry and weary land where there is no water."
David knew that there was no life to be found in the circumstances that he faced, and that the life that he needed, came only from his relationship with God. He sought God earnestly in the dry, difficult season that he found himself in. He clung to God and made Him his help, his hiding place. He did this by beholding and remembering God, even in the middle of the harsh climate he found himself in. God's Presence brought him the fullness of soul that he needed.
This Day, no matter what climate you find yourself in, remember God. In Him, you will find the strength, and the joy and satisfaction you need to bring you through the dry and weary places.
SCRIPTURE
Psalms 63:1-8
"O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly;
My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You,
In a dry and weary land where there is no water.
Thus I have seen You in the sanctuary,
To see Your power and Your glory.
Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips will praise You.
So I will bless You as long as I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name.
My soul is satisfied as with marrow and fatness,
And my mouth offers praises with joyful lips.
When I remember You on my bed,
I meditate on You in the night watches,
For You have been my help,
And in the shadow of Your wings I sing for joy.
My soul clings to You;
Your right hand upholds me."
"ON YOUR TOES"
Published June 3, 2014
Have you ever been on a athletic team? As you are going out to play, the coach yells to your team, "I Want Everyone On Your Toes!" What the coach means is, "I want you to be alert and ready for action." The expression "On Your Toes," comes from the form of a runner at the start of the race. "They're on their toes," the starter shouts, "On your marks, Get set or (On Your Toes) Go! When a runner is flat footed it is much harder to move quickly, so they get on their toes so they are ready to run the race.
While i was praying for you this morning, I kept seeing someone on their toes. Over and over the Bible warns us to keep "On Our Toes", and we are instructed to be Alert, or to Watch. 1 Corinthians 16:13 declares, "Be on the ALERT, "On Your Toes," stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong."
Why are we to be "On Our Toes," alert, watching? One reason is that Jesus is coming soon and we will give account for the way we lived our lives. Another reason is for the purpose of prayer, and because God wants us to be able to stand in the midst of the battles we fight. We must be "On Our Toes," to overcome the weakness of our flesh and the wicked spirits who desire to destroy us. All these, are very good reasons to be "On Our Toes!"
This Day, remember your life matters, that you are in a battle, so Beloved of God, be "On Our Toes!"
SCRIPTURES:
Matthew 24:42-44
“Therefore be on the ALERT, ("On Your Toes"), for you do not know which day your Lord is coming. But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the ALERT, ("On Your Toes"), and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. For this reason you also must be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.
Luke 21:36:
But keep on the ALERT, ("On Your Toes"), at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
1 Peter 5:8:
Be of sober spirit, be on the ALERT, "On Your Toes,". Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
Matthew 26:41:
Keep ("On Your Toes"), WATCHING and praying that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
"I HATE FLIES!"
Published June 2, 2014
I Hate flies! I have no compassion on them. I Despise them! When I see one, I'll swat it and say, "Get Out of Here, You, Nasty Little Creature!!!"
In Matthew 12:22-28, Jesus just healed a man from a demon who had made him dumb and deaf. The man could now speak and hear and the people were amazed, but the Pharisees said, "He cast out demons by Beelzebub, the prince of the demons." "Beelzebub" is from a Aramaic word meaning, "Lord of the Dung Hill" or "Lord of the Fly." What a fitting name for the devil who is constantly at work to infect our mind with dung, accusations, condemnation, lies, slander, evil thoughts. FLIES are nasty little creatures that if allowed to stay long enough, will breed into what could consume us.
While I was praying for God's heart for us this morning, I saw a "Venus Fly Trap" plant and the scripture came to mind from 2 Corinthians 10:5, "We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ."
A Venus Fly Trap captures and destroys the pesky bugs that try to linger on the plant. Paul is teaching us that one of God's weapons for us, is to take captive the thoughts that come to infect us with unbelief, darkness, fear, and lies. Every thought that is raised above the wonderful, pure, life giving, knowledge of God, we must destroy!
This day, lets us destroy every fly like thoughts by squashing it with your Fly swatter, (The Word of God), and let us fill our minds with whatever is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, whatever is of good repute, anything that is excellence and whatever is worthy of praise. The Bible says, "Think on these things." (Philippians 4:8)
"TAKE MY YOKE"
Published on June 1, 2014
Have you ever seen a picture of two oxen joined together with a yoke across their necks? Usually the two animals are dragging a plow through a difficult, harsh ground, or hauling a heavy, burdensome load. In this life we often find ourselves in days and seasons that can be overwhelming. We can join ourselves to so many things, people and activities, thinking that they will give us the wisdom, strength, provision and even the peace we need for our troubled, tired souls, to get through these trying days.
This day while I was praying for you, I saw a Yoke and I heard Jesus' Words in my spirit, "Take My Yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." (Matthew 11:29-30)
Jesus is calling to us this day, COME to Me! The Son of God who stilled the storms, who healed the sick, cast out devils, who multiplied food, pulled money from fishes mouths and Yes, even died and rose from the dead to save us... wants to lift our heavy yokes from us this day and join us to Himself.
This day, whatever harsh, burdensome yoke you may be wearing, Let it go and Come, close to hear your gentle, humble Savior, He will lift your heavy loads. You are Loved!
SCRIPTURES
Matthew 11:28-30 (AMP)
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy- laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]
Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest ( relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.
For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good—not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne.
1 Peter 5:7
casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
"YOU ARE CROWNED"
Published May 30, 2014
Nancy Tillman writes and illustrates beautifully, sweet children's books that tug at your heartstrings. One of her books is called, "The Crown On Your Head," it starts off like this:
"On the day that we met and I put you to bed,
I noticed a crown on the top of your head,
It was made up of sparkling, glimmering things,
Like moonlight and fireflies, and dragonfly wings."
Sometimes we need to be reminded of who we are now. We have been Born Again and that our Father is King, and that now, there's a crown on your head!
John 1:12 tells us, "But as many as received Him, (Jesus) to them He gave the right to become children of God," and Revelation 1:6 exclaims, "And He hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father."
There's a crown on your head!
You are royalty! A crown is a mark of royalty, of overcoming, of power, authority and of honor. There's a crown on your head!
Here are a few more phases from Nancy's Book that tells you what the crown means:
"It tells the story of just who you are
and it means like a star you were born to shine..." (Isaiah 60:1)
There is just no telling how high you can go..." (Luke 1:37)
"I always knew what your crown meant, it meant you were magnificent!" (Psalm 16:3)
"It means that you're grand from your toes to your chin. Take a deep breath and let it sink in!" (Col. 2:10)
This day, God wants to remind you there is a crown on your head! You are a child of God, Beloved, you're Royalty! So walk straight and tall, you were born to shine, your life counts and you were created to make a difference. There's a crown on your head!
"RUNNER"
Published May 29, 2014
The other day my son did a short video of himself singing and playing the piano to a old Twila Paris song called, "Runner."
Here is the chorus:
"Runner when the road is long, Feel like giving in but you're hanging on,
Oh runner, when the race is won, You will run into His arms."
Paul tells us in, 1 Corinthians 9:24, "Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win."
You are the runner called to run this race for Jesus Christ. The song, "Runner," is about the many obstacles we face as we run lifting high the standard of Jesus Christ.
In the NLT Bible, Hebrews 12:1-2 declared to us,
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us." We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.
This Day, RUNNER, be strong, don't grow weary in the race that is set before you, God promises you will be rewarded, if you don't give up. (Galatians 6:9)
"INSTRUMENTS"
Published May 28, 2014
Last night we took a stroll around our daughter's neighborhood. As we walked down the street you could hear two band instruments practicing. We were all guessing what we could be hearing, could it be a trumpet, a trombone, or maybe a saxophone? When we turned the corner, their were two high school guys marching back and forth in their driveway, playing their instruments, a baritone and a saxophone.
As I was praying for you this morning, I began to see some type of instrument that was to be played.
The NLT Bible says in, Romans 6:13-14,
"Do not let any part of your body become an INSTRUMENT of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an INSTRUMENT to do what is right for the glory of God. Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace."
Paul is telling the Romans that Jesus saved them so they could be INSTRUMENTS, INSTRUMENTS of His grace that wars against sin and darkness. In a age when good is called evil and evil, good, God's Word still tells us to present ourselves to God as INSTRUMENTS of righteousness. Jesus death and resurrection has equipped us with all the grace we need to give ourselves to God and to say, NO to sin and YES to God!
This day, let us remember God has given us His Amazing Grace, so we can now be INSTRUMENTS that make the Loud sound of a life that's filled with integrity, virtue and purity, in our thinking, feeling, and acting. God loves you, you are an INSTRUMENT of Righteousness!
"THIRD DAY"
Published May 27, 2017
Many significant events in the Bible happened "on the third day". The number three is the number of the Trinity but also a symbol of completion (or perfection), and unity.
Hosea 6:2 tells us, “He will revive us after two days; He will raise us up on the THIRD day, That we may live before Him."
Jesus told His disciples that He would be raised up and on the THIRD Day.
Matthew 20:18-19 says, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem; and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn Him to death, and will hand Him over to the Gentiles to mock and scourge and crucify Him, and on the THIRD day He will be raised up.”
Whenever I read... "and on the Third Day" in the Bible, I know I'd better take note because something has been completed and there is a new beginning that is taking place.
This morning I saw the number three while I was asking God for His heart for you today. I believe it is a time of God completing a season for you and that you are transitioning into new things. It is also for those who have been waiting for a resurrection of what seems to be dead promises. Look Out, it's the THIRD DAY! Most of all, God wants you to know that He is with you, as Your Heavenly Father, as The Saving Son and as The Mighty Power of The Spirit of The Living God to perfect what concerns you.
This Day, let us remember your God is with you to bring you to the THIRD Day.
"STIR IT UP!"
Published May 25, 2014
There was an especially difficult season that my husband and I were walking through one time where we needed God to do BIG miracles for us in so many areas of our lives. During this time, we were on a road trip driving and you could feel the gloom that had filled the van from us thinking about all the heavy things that were talking place in our lives.
Have you ever prayed, and then you pray again and then you pray some more, but it seems like your only spinning your wheels because you have done it so much. We were there at that point and kept praying, but we needed to come to God in a different way. Suddenly The Spirit of God begin to STIR us up by directing us to remember all the good things He had done for us over and over, the promises He had made us, the miracles we had received in our family, of healing, finances, friendships, and encouragement so many times. We began to take turns remembering and sharing the different ways He had blessed us and answered our prayers. By the time we got to the place we were traveling to, we were filled with thanksgiving and the hopelessness had gone and faith had once again filled our hearts.
As I was praying for you this morning, I saw a mixer. It's purpose was to stir up our inner man. 2 Peter 3:1-2 says, "This is now, beloved, the second letter I am writing to you in which I am STIRRING up your sincere mind by way of REMINDER, that you should REMEMBER the words spoken beforehand by the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior spoken by your apostles."
And 2 Peter 1:13 declares, "I consider it right, as long as I am in this earthly dwelling, to STIR YOU UP BY WAY OF REMINDER,"
This day, let gloom and hopelessness go as you STIR up yourself, by REMEMBERING the faithfulness of your God. He loves you.
"THE SHOUT"
Published on May 23, 2014
Around two o clock this morning, Donny and I left for the Charlotte area after receiving a phone call from my daughter telling us that she had gone into labor. As we drove the dark roads, I prayed for you all and saw in the spirit someone SHOUTING.
It had been nine long months of waiting since my daughter received the news that she had conceived. She had watched month after month the change to her once lovely body, from a tall, slender lady, to a round, waddling Mama to be. Those months brought her all kinds of discomfort, and there were things she was once able to do, she no longer could do. She became so full of the promise of this new life that she could no longer move easily or look down and see her feet. Over and over I heard her say, "I can't wait to have this baby." Then, this morning at 9:11, after hours of sharp pain and much waiting and then pushing, it happened, a gift of a precious little baby boy was born into this world. The look of joy on her and her husbands face brought tears to my eyes.
Psalms 30:5 says,
"Weeping may last for the night, But a SHOUT of joy comes in the morning."
"THE GIFT"
Published May 22, 2014
Everyday is a gift from God that He has given to us to display His goodness. There may be ups and downs, challenges to face, people we meet that need an out stretched hand to pull them up, bills to pay, runny noses to wipe, trips to take, coffee with friends... Whatever you may face this day, God is there, He is with you and He has given you this day, It's a gift!
Psalms 23 was written by David during the days when he was fleeing from King Saul. During those days, he was exiled from his people, living among strangers and enemies. His life was continually threatened and he never knew what would happen, yet he wrote one of the most beloved of all the Psalms. This Psalm overwhelms us with God's faithfulness to take care of us through all the days of our life.
Psalms 23:6 declares in the Message Bible,"Your beauty and love CHASE after me every day of my life." The NLT says, "Surely your goodness and unfailing love will PURSUE me all the days of my life," King James tells us, "Surely goodness and mercy shall FOLLOW me all the days of my life."
Most people would not believe those days God gave to David, were a gift from Him. But even in the wilderness, God was with David. As he gave those days back to The Lord, God fashioned David into a man after His own heart, the new King of Israel.
This day, let us remember His goodness is pursuing, chasing, following after us during the 24 hour gift He has given to us. Let us use it for His glory.
"JUBILEE"
Published May 21, 2014
In Leviticus 25:9-10, the sound of the shofars (rams horns), are to be heard throughout the land. What does this sound mean to the people of Israel? It's the sound of freedom from slavery and of all debts. It's the sound of restoration of what was stolen from them through debt and difficulties, and being fully returned to them. It was a piercing sound of JOY, of FREEDOM! Those that heard the sound and believed, were no longer slaves and paupers; their livelihood was restored and they were made free.
This day, I see the shofar being blown over our lives. Our debt has been cancelled through the blood of Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 1:18-19) What has been stolen from you, is restored in Christ, GO FREE!!! I now see the shofar filled with oil being poured over you to anoint you for service. Go and blow the shofar, (or go speak forth), the piercing sound of Liberty, declare freedom from captivity to the world. Tell them whom the Son sets free, (JESUS!), is free indeed; that they now can be free, through faith in Jesus Christ!
SCRIPTURES
Leviticus 25:9-10
"Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land. And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family."
Isaiah 61:1
"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me;because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;"
John 8:36
"If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."
"GLANCE"
Published May 20, 2014
There is a beautiful song that ran through my spirit this morning that was written by Misty Edwards, called "Glance." This song stirs my heart to the core and will often bring tears to my eyes. It reminds me of the wonders of when Jesus began to capture my heart. I was the unpopular wallflower, unnoticed, unvalued by most, yet He chose me and made everything new. How could I not be overwhelmed with such love?
In Revelation 2:4-5, Jesus tells the church of Ephesus, a church that seems to be doing everything right, these words, "I have this against you, that you have left your first love.
Look how far you have fallen! Turn back to me and do the works you did at first."
Our works can become a routine that we do religiously, yet void of loving devotion to Jesus. God wants our love! Here are the words to Misty's song:
"GLANCE"
I remember the first glance,
I remember the first romance,
I remember the first dance,
When I fell in love with You, when I fell in love with You,
When I fell in love...
I thought that I would never know love,
And maybe I would never know touch,
And then You came and awakened me,
And then You came unlocking me,
I've never known a love like this,
You've shown the truth behind the myth, The mystery
I remember the first glance,
I remember the first romance,
I remember the first dance,
When I fell in love with You, when I fell in love with You
When I fell in love...
When it's all been said, when it's all been done,
When the race is run, and this life overcome,
I will remember Your love, I will remember Your love,
I will remember Your love, I will remember Your love,
I remember the first dance, when I fell in love with You.
This day, let us remember the wonder, the excitement, the joy, the peace... Of the time when we gave our lives to Jesus. When He looked at us and said, "I choose you!"
"SPARKLING WINE"
Published May 18, 2014
This day, I see sparkling wine being poured into a empty glass. It's time to be poured out for others. Many glasses are extended to you, they are waiting for the sweet wine of the Spirit of God to fill their empty lives. They are longing for His Love, that will quench their desperate thirst, it is better then all the pleasure of this world. (Song of Songs 1:2,4)
He is calling out to all who thirst, to come and drink with out cost, for Jesus has paid the price, through the wine of His shed blood that has been poured out for the forgiveness of many. This is the wine of the blood of the new covenant that Jesus gave for us. (Matthew 26:27-28)
This day, let us be His vessels, that allow Him to pour out His Transforming Wine. Their glasses are reaching out to us, let's pour out Jesus to make new their thirsty souls. (John 6:53-55)
"THE BREAKER"
Published May 16, 2014
One of God's names, is The Breaker. The Bible declares in Micah 2:13,
"The Breaker [the Messiah] will go up before them. They will break through, pass in through the gate and go out through it, and their King will pass on before them, the Lord at their head." He goes before us, to give us the Breakthrough.
In Daniel 10:12-13, an angel of The Lord comes to Daniel, who has been waiting for a Breakthrough. For many days he had humbled himself before God, with praying and fasting. Finally an angel of The Lord comes with the answer and he tells Daniel, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer. But for twenty- one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me, and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia."
This morning while I was praying for you, I saw something being broken and then remembered, the testimony of the man that produced the movie, "The Finger of God." He was at a church and someone from the stage said, "The Angel Breakthrough is here, "he mockingly thought, "Ri-i-ght, The Angel Breakthrough." Suddenly an mighty angelic being whose fist was clinched like he wanted to break something, stood beside him. The angel told him to push ahead and produce that movie. After that encounter, the hindrances that held him back to make the movie, were removed and he was able to move forward to see the movie made.
This day, The Breaker, (The Messiah, Jesus Christ), goes before you, it's Breakthrough Time!
"YELLOW BRICK ROAD"
Published May 15, 2014
"FOLLOW THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD," rang out in my spirit this morning while I was praying for you. In the movie, "The Wizard of Oz," when Dorothy needs to find her way home, she is told to follow the yellow brick road. She doesn't know all the ups and downs she will face while traveling on this road or the many different places the road will lead her through. She doesn't even know all the lives that she will touch on the way, but she knows this, if she is obedient to follow this road, she will get home.
There are many paths each day that we can choose that may even seem right to us, but the Bible warns us in, Proverbs 14:12, "There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death." There is only one way our Heavenly Father has for us to walk in each day, it is the way that brings life, peace, protection, and provision in every area of our lives. It is the way that will lead us to our eternal home. John 14:6 tells us that WAY, "Jesus said, “I am the WAY, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." Col. 2:6 declares, "As you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so WALK in Him, (THE WAY)."
This day, lets fix our eyes on Jesus, (Hebrews 12:2), and ask Him to show us the WAY of Life that will impact many for Him, and will lead us to our Heavenly Home.
"THE BLUEBIRD PROMISE"
Published May 14, 2014
Years ago when I was going through a difficult season in my life, I was up early one morning seeking The Lord. I happened to be drawn to look out the window and noticed a small bird sitting on a limb in the shadows. I kept wondering what type of bird it was. I thought maybe it's a Robin, but then I thought no, it's too small. As I watched and thought about the bird, it suddenly flew in front of the window where beautiful blue feathers flashed before my eyes. It was a bluebird! My spirit leaped, I knew that God had set me up to speak to me, but wasn't sure what He was saying. I kept asking Him, "What are You saying to me," but I still had no understanding? Soon the kids were up running about and I went into the kitchen to make breakfast for them, as I turned to the refrigerator, I saw a magnet my Mom had sent me years before, it was a Bluebird sitting on her eggs and below it was written, "GOD KEEPS HIS PROMISES." I can't tell you what that sweet little sign from Jesus meant to me.
The Bible says in, Joshua 21:45, "Not one of the good promises which the Lord had made to the house of Israel failed; all came to pass." Don't give up on your dreams, precious one, God loves you and He is Faithful and True, He will do what He promised.
Hebrews 10:23 encourages us saying, "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised.)"
Hebrews 10:35-36 tells us, "Do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.
Don't grow weary in the mist of your battles, hold fast, keep believing, God will bring to pass every promise He has spoken to you. "GOD KEEPS HIS PROMISES!"
"BEAUTIFUL FEET"

We had a beautiful, sun shiny day in our area on Sunday. My husband got out his short sleeve shirt to wear to church and I pulled my sandals from the shoe box. You don't just put on sandals, your feet have to be prepared. After showering I made sure my toe nails were clipped, then I got out a bright, reddish polish to paint my toe nails before slipping on my sandals. I finally felt I was presentable, but it took some time to make my feet beautiful.
The Bible says in Song of Songs 7:1. “How beautiful are your feet in sandals, O prince’s daughter!" In Bible times slaves and mourners went about without shoes to cover their feet, but the feet in Song of Songs 7:1, are the feet of royalty, they have been prepared. They are ready to walk forward with authority and purpose, because these feet, are one with the King. These feet understand that their steps matter and that people are watching and depending on the way they walk. These feet have been prepared, they are at peace and are making a difference where ever they go.
This day, take time with your Bridegroom, Jesus Christ, as you put on your royal sandals. He'll tell you, "How beautiful are your feet in sandals," how beautiful are your feet that have been prepared!
"DAMS"

Recently my sister who is a teacher, was correcting a student for disobedience and stealing. Suddenly the six grader turned and punched her in the mouth and began to hit and kick her. She yelled for another teacher, asking the boy to stop. The child fell to the floor in a fetal position sobbing uncontrollably.
The Bible says in, Judges 5:7, "The villages were unoccupied and rulers ceased in Israel, (it wasn't safe), until you arose—you, Deborah, arose—a MOTHER in Israel." Never before has motherhood been so despised by a nation, yet so desperately needed. Where are the Deborahs, that will arise to fight for her children. One of the words for Mother in that passage," is to dam."
A dam is used to control the flow of water. When it is controlled, great power, protection, growth and joy is given to the communities that surround it. We are Dams, that God has chosen to direct the course of our children lives, by our constant, loving involvement, caring for and directing their lives to please God.
Arise Mothers, to love, pray, fight for your physical and spiritual children, "knowing this, that your toil is not in vain in the Lord." (1 Corinthians 15:58)
Have a Blessed Mother's Day!
