FRIDAY NIGHT UPDATE:
The Waiting Room gathering on Friday night was a great time as God met us all so powerfully and intimately, it was amazing! Each week continues to bring new curious and hungry for More-of-God seekers who show up, having been in a dry and weary land, and leave refreshed, revived, and refocused. Each time we meet, we receive testimony messages/texts of how God really touched them deeply. This only confirms to us that we are on the right track, as so many people who have visited, are tired, thirsty, and struggling with life situations. It is so encouraging to receive these messages and see what God has been doing in hearts. Because of all the great reports we hear continually, we are going to add a small comment section on our Waiting Room page on our website. If you would like to take a moment to write out some comments of how God has used the Waiting Room gathering to touch you, we would greatly appreciate it. We believe God will use your testimonies to send us more people who are looking for a place of revival and freedom in the surrounding counties.
ENLARGING THE VISION:
This October will be two years ago that we opened the doors to The Waiting Room and began to meet once a month. We are now meeting every other week and are continuing to pray if and when we should open the doors every Friday night. The schedule we have now works great for us, as it gives us the freedom to travel out for ministry opportunities on Saturday and Sunday, but also allows us to do extended out-of-state trips. We would appreciate your prayers concerning the timing of when we should start meeting every week. We believe as this ministry grows and more people start attending, that God will lead us to have a Waiting Room gathering every Friday night.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO HELP US?
Many of you know that the facility we use for the Waiting Room meetings, also serves as a temporary living quarters for us. Because we live in the building, we also take care and maintain the entire property, including taking care of the almost 3 acres of grass mowing/trimming. Each time we start preparing for another Waiting Room gathering, we spend several days, getting the outside presentable and vacuuming/cleaning the inside. If you would like to volunteer once or twice a month to help vacuum, clean the bathrooms, etc., we would greatly appreciate it. We are also in need of someone who has basic technical computer skills who would like to be trained to do the Power Point words for the worship songs. Presently, Debi has been doing it only because of necessity. If would be great to free her up so she can stay focused to speak. (BTW, we use Apple computers in our facility, which are very simple to use.)
OFFERING INFORMATION:
We are very thankful for all those who have been able to give faithfully in the offerings at The Waiting Room each time we meet. This gathering is supported by those who give in the offering basket, but also supplemented by D&D Ministries supporters. Because thus far, we’ve only been a small group, the offerings vary from week to week. Most of the time, we have to supplement the expenses with other funds we receive separately, or even from the offerings we receive from our traveling ministry. We are believing God to see an increase in The Waiting Room offerings, and would appreciate your consistent donations whenever you can help us out. Please pray with us that all the expenses for the building, including the mortgage, utilities, etc., will be met through the Waiting Room offerings, so any other finances we receive from monthly givers, etc., can be used for other ministry projects we are involved with, and for our own personal needs. Thank You!
Note: We have had at least two instances where their has been a mix up and checks were not written out correctly for the offerings. If you are planning to write a check to help us at the Waiting Room and need a tax receipt, please make your checks out to “D&D MINISTRIES”, and not The Waiting Room. (Tax receipts will be sent out at the first of the year.)
